Ashtanga Cheshire Studios Ltd will host an Alchemy Sound Bath using crystal singing bowls on 30 September 2026 in Stoke. The entry fee is set at £16.00.
Be bathed in the vibrations of the Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls as they carry you on a dreamy journey to more peace, ease and clarity.
Journey into the realms of pure bliss by bathing in the magical sounds of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, ocean drums, koshi chimes and more. Allow the beautiful vibrations to wash over you and bring in fresh energy, deep cleansing and clearing of anything no longer required.
Sound healing has numerous benefits with studies showing that can support in reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, boosting energy, balancing the energetic body, alliveating some physical pain and improving mental clarity. No prior experience is necessary and all are welcome (please see contraindications below).
I work specifically with Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls that are made with the highest quality quartz and produce the purest sound. Each bowl is a unique, one-off creation emitting a sound like no other bowl can. Blended with precious gems and minerals, my collection of bowls include energies of nurturing, compassion, flow, heart expansion, balance, ancient wisdom, cleansing and connection. I also use instruments that mimic the reassuring sounds of nature (soothing waters and birdsong).
| WHAT TO EXPECT | You can experience the sound bath lying down or seated. We begin by inviting the body (and mind) to soften through breath and maybe some gentle floor-based movement (like rolling the head from side to side or stretching). You'll also be offered an essential oil (optional) to support rest. The sound waves created by the bowls can help shift the brain into deeper states of relaxation and you may even fall asleep or find yourself in a 'dream' like soupiness. It is in this downregulated state that the body is more able to self-heal and restore. Towards the end of the session you will be guided back to wakefulness and given space to ground before we close.
| WHAT TO BRING | The studio has mats, blankets and bolsters but you're also welcome to bring your own. An extra blanket never hurts! You may also wish to bring a pillow/cushion for added comfort. If you have a dry throat or cough, you may wish to bring water or throat sweets with you.
| WHAT TO WEAR | Please note your body temperature can drop by up to six degrees during a sound healing session so dress warmly/wear layers. I always recommend wearing thick socks!
| DIRECTIONS AND PARKING | The studio is in the centre of Sandbach, on Welles Street, opposite the The Four Priests. There is off street parking available and a number of car parks in the surrounding area (please note these may charge).
| CONTRAINDICATIONS | Unfortunately there is not enough research out there to say for sure who sound baths are NOT suitable for so if you have any concerns about attending because of a specific condition please speak with your medical provider/doctor. Sound baths may not be suitable if you have a pacemaker, suffer from seizures, experience severe mental health issues or are in the first trimester of pregnancy. In purchasing a ticket you are confirming that it is suitable for you to attend.
| CHILDREN | You're very welcome to book under 18s on to the session if they are happy and comfortable to be in relative stillness and quiet for an hour but they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Please arrive by 19.25 at the latest so we can all be settled to start at 19.30. Unfortunately there can be no entry after 19.30 as to not disturb other participants.
