Staffordshire Games alumni: apply to pitch your game and team to Flix Interactive at the Ukie Student Conference on 21 October.

Game & Team Pitch Sessions

Pitch your game. Introduce the team behind it.

Are you a University of Staffordshire Games alumnus working with a team on a game? As part of the Ukie Student Conference on Wednesday 21 October 2026, we’re inviting alumni-led teams to apply for a dedicated pitch session with Flix Interactive.

Flix is interested in the game you’re making and the people making it: how you collaborate, solve creative problems and develop your ideas. Selected teams will have approximately an hour to introduce their project, show a demo or gameplay footage, discuss their approach and receive feedback.

We expect to offer three or four sessions, subject to the final conference schedule. Sessions will take place at the University of Staffordshire’s Stoke-on-Trent campus.

Who should apply?

Teams of two or more people actively developing a game, with at least one University of Staffordshire alumnus, are welcome to apply. Your project does not need to be finished, but you should have a playable demo or gameplay video that gives Flix something concrete to discuss.

What will we ask for?

Please be ready to provide:

A short pitch for your game and a link to a demo or gameplay video.

An introduction to your team, including who does what and how you work together.

An example of a creative or production challenge your team has addressed.

Whether your team currently uses AI in its development workflow, and if so, to what extent and how you assess its output.

Applications close at 17:00 on Friday 9 October. We’ll review applications with Flix and aim to contact applicants by Wednesday 14 October.

Submitting an application does not confirm a place. Selected teams will be emailed their session time, room and further details. This application does not register your team for the wider Ukie Student Conference.
