About This Event

Queer & Now is a six-week LGBTQ+ group experience beginning on 28 October 2026 at Project 93 in Stoke. The sessions will focus on exploring identity, belonging, and self-acceptance. Attendance is free.

Six weekly sessions exploring LGBTQ+ identity, belonging and self-acceptance in a polarised world. Starts Wednesday 28 October.

Exploring Identity, Belonging & Self-Acceptance in a Polarised World

Queer & Now is a warm, reflective, community-centred programme for LGBTQ+ adults who want space to explore who they are, where they belong, and how to feel more at home in themselves.

At a time when our world seems more divided than ever, this six-week journey offers a gentle blend of guided discussion, shared storytelling and supportive group connection. Each session focuses on a different aspect of LGBTQ+ identity and lived experience, helping participants deepen self-understanding, strengthen resilience and build meaningful community.

HOW TO JOIN: BOOK AN ASSESSMENT

Everyone joining the group starts with an assessment session. This gives us both a chance to explore whether the group feels like the right place for you at this time.

Assessing suitability isn't about gatekeeping - it's about care. Each participant brings their own history, pace and needs, and a thoughtful assessment helps make the group a safe, supportive environment for everyone. By understanding where you are in your journey, we can make sure you're matched with support that fits your readiness, protects your wellbeing and allows the group to flourish. It's how we honour both the individual and the collective.

To book, simply reserve an "Assessment request" ticket below. Someone from Project 93 will be in touch soon to arrange a time for you to meet the group facilitator, Steve Barlow.

Reserving a ticket does not guarantee a place in the group. There is no cost to take part.
