Trans Social is a relaxed gathering for trans and gender-diverse individuals, taking place at The Dudson Centre in Hanley. This event provides a space for attendees to connect without the structure of a formal meeting. Attendance is free.
Looking for a place to meet other trans and gender-diverse folk without the structure of a formal meeting? Welcome to the Trans Social.
What is the Trans Social?
We know that sometimes the best support comes from just sitting down with a brew and chatting with people who "get it." The Trans Social is our most laid-back group—a space designed for the trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse community in Staffordshire to hang out, make new friends, and share community in a safe, affirming environment.
There are no set topics and no "expert" panels. Instead, we focus on:
Meaningful Connection: Meet new people and build lasting friendships within the local community.
Lived Experience: We believe in the power of shared stories. Whether you’re looking for advice on navigating transition or just want to chat about your latest hobby, you’re among friends here.
A Safe Haven: A space where you don’t have to explain your identity—you can just be yourself.
New to Project 93? This is the perfect first step. If you’re feeling a bit nervous about coming along, don't worry—most of us felt that way our first time too! Our team and regular members are here to give you a warm welcome.
