Starting from Boston Tea Party in Stratford-upon-Avon, this circular walk heads south toward the River Avon, joining the riverside path and turning west past the scenic Bancroft Gardens and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. You’ll continue along the river to Lucy’s Mill Bridge, where you cross to the opposite bank and follow a quieter path back east, enjoying open views of the river and the town.
The route then winds slightly inland through green spaces and residential streets, bringing you back to the historic centre near Shakespeare’s Birthplace, before looping back to your starting café. This easy, pleasant walk of around 5–6.5 km combines riverside scenery, parks, and some of Stratford’s most iconic sights.
