Come and join Strength Of A Queen CIC for an end-of-summer afternoon of poetry, karaoke, food, laughter and meaningful conversation in East London.

Whether you’re the first one grabbing the mic, prefer listening to poetry, or simply fancy meeting new people and enjoying a relaxed afternoon outdoors, you’re welcome.

What to expect

🎤 Karaoke – pick your song, grab the mic and have some fun.

🎭 Live poetry – featuring Free Spirit Poet and Adukeh the Poet.

👑 Fun & empowering games – designed to get us talking, laughing, reflecting and celebrating ourselves and each other.

🥪 Picnic food provided – including sandwiches, snacks and fruit.

💬 Good conversations – come alone or bring a friend. It’s all about connection, community and good energy.

What to bring

Bring a picnic blanket and your favourite drinks (no alcohol please). You may also want to bring sunscreen and anything else you need for a comfortable afternoon outdoors.

And, of course, bring your favourite karaoke song. 🎶

The exact location and joining instructions will be provided to registered attendees before the event.

This event is hosted by Strength Of A Queen CIC, raising awareness of narcissistic abuse and domestic violence while creating positive spaces for connection, empowerment and community.

This is a relaxed social event, not a support group or therapy session, and there is no expectation to share personal experiences. Come exactly as you are and participate as much or as little as you like.
