Stratford-upon-Avon Research Conversation: Revisiting Shakespeare's Will.

Monday 9th November.

Professor Matthew Steggle talks about his new research into a document which might be associated with Shakespeare's daughter Susanna Hall. This builds on his wave of recent work on Susanna, in particular talking about her as the designer of her mother's memorial and more broadly of the Shakespeare family tombs in Holy Trinity Church. It also links to Steggle's own work on other documents with possible associations to female members of the Shakespeare family, including the "Spiritual Testament" which has been linked to Shakespeare's sister Joan.

Presented by Matthew Steggle, Professor of Early Modern English Literature at the University of Bristol.

Free of charge. Donations encouraged. Tea and coffee available. Presented by Warwickshire Libraries and The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Date: Every second Monday of the month (excluding Bank Holidays)

Age: 16+
