The 2026-27 Season will be historic for Sunderland AFC, and the Europa League adds a small twist to the mix. What better place to watch the historic Europa draw than inside one of the city's most poignant and historically significant buildings, surrounded by decades of unforgettable football memories.

Join us as This is Wearside hosts a watch party for the Europa League draw as Sunderland discovers their path to Frankfurt, while we aim to raise more funds for our fan displays, flags, and tifos for this season. Let's show our support and make the displays bigger and better!

The draw takes place at 12 pm on Friday 28/06/26. We will be joined by Connor Bromley and Taff (AltEnding), who will be hosting a live in-person reaction to our chosen match opponents. They'll be taking a closer look at who we will face on our Europa journey, and hopefully that includes an excursion to Italy... who knows!?
