About This Event

Do you dare to tackle the tower? We're offering a handful of brave people a rare chance to abseil 18m (60ft) down the lighthouse under the expert guidance of outdoor activity specialists Pinpoint Adventure. It's all for a good cause; you'll be helping us care for Souter Lighthouse, The Leas and Whitburn Local Nature Reserve, paying towards essentials such as footpath repairs, paint to keep the lighthouse spick and span, plants for the gardens and seed to feed the birds in winter. By signing up now for £25*, then raising a minimum of £100 sponsorship, you'll play your part in looking after Souter to benefit people and wildlife. Once you've taken the first brave step and booked your place, we'll be in touch to provide you with a sponsorship form and details of how to set up your Just Giving page. *£25 booking cost is non-refundable.
