About This Event

Try out different sports and games with trained coaches. Each session will be adapted to suit the needs and interests of the children and young people taking part. This event is free, but please remember to book your place. Activities will take place in the Foghorn Field, within the Lighthouse Grounds. You do not need to be National Trust members to attend, and you are welcome to stay as long as you like afterwards. If you are a National Trust member, please scan your membership card when you arrive. To get free parking, just show your booking confirmation email to the reception team. Smile Through Sport is a disability sport charity based in the North East. Paralympian Stephen Miller MBE founded the charity to offer events, sessions, and education that help improve the health and wellbeing of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in the region. They support organisations, individuals, and families with a variety of services.
