Relaxed networking for small businesses, sole traders, freelancers, side hustlers, and working parents. Drop in and connect.

Washington Small Business Connection: Informal Evening Meetup

Tired of missing out on business networking because everything happens at 10:00 AM?

People buy from people, and building local connections is vital for any growing venture. But if you work a day job while building your dream, juggle family commitments, or simply can’t drop client work mid-morning, traditional daytime networking leaves you locked out.

Welcome to Washington Small Business Connection—a warm, informal space created by local business owners, for local business owners.

Whether you run an established high-street trade, work from a kitchen table, freelance, or build your business around school runs and shifts, you are warmly invited to pull up a chair. No stopwatches, no rigid 60-second elevator pitches, and zero pressure.

Special Guest Feature: Enterprise Made Simple (EMS)

Alongside relaxed conversation and peer support, our meetups connect you with practical resources to help your venture thrive.

For this session, we are delighted to welcome Andrea Clarke from Enterprise Made Simple (EMS). Andrea will be sharing an overview of the practical, funded courses and business support programmes EMS provides to help local business owners build skills, gain confidence, and scale sustainably.
