💛 CORE GUIDELINES

These guidelines help us create a safe, respectful and connected space for everyone.

🦶 No Shoes

We dance barefoot to encourage a deeper sense of grounding and connection with the earth and the sand beneath us.

🤫 No Talking

We keep the dance floor silent, allowing the music and movement to speak. Communication can happen through eyes, sounds, gestures and movement without words.

🌿 No Substances

Please help us maintain a clear, present and sober environment. No alcohol or recreational drugs during the event.

📵 No Phones or Cameras

To protect everyone's privacy and help us stay fully present, phones and cameras are kept away from the dance space. Please avoid recording or photographing others.

🤍 Respect Boundaries

Everyone has their own personal space and way of moving. Please honour boundaries and remain aware of those around you.

If you would like to connect through partnered movement or touch, seek consent through clear gestures and respect the other person's response. A no, turning away or moving back is always to be honoured.

Your body is your own. Everyone else's body is their own.

Structure of event:

Opening circle: A 20 to 30-minute gathering for introductions, setting intentions, and gentle warming up.

The wave: A 90 minute musical journey led by a Abundance dance DJ starting slow, building to high-energy peaks, and winding back down.

Closing circle: A brief time to cool down, sit together, and integrate the experience before heading home.
