About This Event

The Performance Workshop will take place on 28 September 2026 at Swansea Civic Centre in Swansea. The workshop is free to attend and explores clowning, movement, cabaret, and play.

A fun, relaxed and welcoming workshop exploring clowning, movement, cabaret and play!

Performance Workshop

Join us at Swansea Civic Centre on June 1st, 2026 from 6 - 9 PM for a fun and interactive Performance Workshop led by movement artists CJ Ashen and performance artist Cerian Hedd.

This is a practical session exploring different cabaret performance and movement styles. The session will be part games and activities followed by independent time to work on new or existing performance pieces and cabaret acts.

Please make sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. You may bring your own refreshements and there will be hot and cold drink making facilitaties available.

Information about accessing the venue will be sent via email before the session.

We have been generously given the space for this workshop by the Welsh National Theatre.
