Participants will have the opportunity to create masks inspired by the season of Calan Gaeaf, a Welsh celebration that signifies the transition of seasons. The event encourages creativity and includes a chance to add personal stories to the Colby Coelcerth bonfire. Attendees can drop in anytime between 11am and 3pm, and the activity is free for everyone, with normal car parking charges applying.
Come and discover the magic and mystery of Calan Gaeaf, the Welsh celebration that marks the turning of the seasons, when nights grow longer and the veil between worlds begins to thin.
Be inspired by the season of Calan Gaeaf to create your masks - are you an owl or a bat? There will also be an opportunity to add your stories, thoughts, or dreams to the flames of the Colby Coelcerth (bonfire) - a crafty twist on the traditional coelcerth flames. You might like to take a walk around the woodland garden after the storytelling session...or not...who knows what might you find.
This activity is free for everyone to enjoy (normal car parking charges apply). Drop in anytime between 11am to 3pm, no need to book.
