No One Rolls Alone, organised by Old Eltons Clothing, is scheduled for 18 November 2026 at Motley in Tenby. This event invites gamers to meet, roll dice, and connect with others in a friendly atmosphere. Participation is free.
Meet fellow gamers, roll the dice, and make new friends—because no one has to play alone!
There is nowhere in Tenby to play Warhammer. So we made somewhere.
For a while now a handful of us have been meeting at Motley after the shops shut, standing round a table until half eleven at night. It started with two people who met over something completely unrelated and grew one person at a time from there.
This is that night, opened up properly. Wednesday 18 November is the first one, and then once a month after that.
Who it is for
Anyone. That is not a figure of speech.
If you have played for twenty years, come and give somebody a game. If you have never touched it, come anyway. If you have a half painted army in a cupboard you have not opened since lockdown, bring it. If you have nothing at all, come and have a look and borrow some dice.
Nobody here is going to quiz you on the rules. Every single person at that table turned up to a first game not knowing what they were doing, and the ten awkward minutes at the start happen to everybody and then stop.
What to bring
Whatever you have got. Models painted or not, a dice bag if you own one, a tape measure if you are organised. If you have none of that, bring yourself.
What it actually is
It is a few hours, a board, and people stood opposite each other with their hands busy. It is slow, it is quiet in patches, and it is the sort of evening where you end up talking about more than the game without ever really meaning to.
We made a short film about why it matters to the group of us who go. It is called No One Rolls Alone and it is on our YouTube channel if you want to know what you are walking into first.
Where
Motley, Tenby. Luke shuts the cafe and hands over the whole room, which he has been doing for us for a while now and has never once played a game himself....yet.
And afterwards
The first one is Wednesday 18 November, Come to one and see.
Old Eltons Clothing on Church Street is an official Games Workshop stockist, so if the night gives you the itch, the stand is five minutes away and there is somebody behind the counter who plays.
