Gather together at the turning of the seasons in Fenit on Sunday 27th September.

We’ll begin with a seasonal yang to yin yoga practice inspired by the Autumn Equinox and the transition into the cooler months — grounding steady movement, breath and longer held poses for moments of stillness, to help us slow down and settle into the season.

I’ll also bring some of what I’ve been learning through my Traditional Chinese Medicine studies into the morning too. In TCM, autumn is associated with the Lung and Large Intestine systems, so we’ll explore some simple ways of supporting our immune system through the change of season, including a few easy acupressure points you can use at home and a little about seasonal food and nourishment.

Plus you'll receive a TCM Autumn food and an acupressure point guide via email after the workshop.

And we’ll put some of that into practice! After yoga, we’ll gather for a homemade pear & dark chocolate breakfast muffin with an immune boosting herbal tea. Pears are traditionally used in Chinese food therapy to nourish and moisten the Lung, making them a perfect fit for our autumn morning.

Then it’s down to the beach for the warmth of Fenit Lighthouse Sauna and a refreshing dip in the sea.

🔥 Sauna Sessions: 2.30pm or 3pm

Additional Info

Adults only (18+)

No previous yoga or TCM experience needed

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket or cosy layer and water

If joining the sauna/sea dip, bring swimwear, flip-flops/sliders and a towel for sauna use

A plastic water bottle is recommended for the sauna as metal bottles can become very hot

Sea dipping is entirely optional

Choose your preferred sauna time when booking

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or exchanged for credit

Sauna spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended

If you are pregnant or have an underlying health condition, please check with your doctor before using the sauna

Please note, it is not possible to cater for specific dietary requirements in this workshop, muffins are vegan but made at home in a kitchen that may contain gluten and nut traces
