Celebrating 35 Years of Ukrainian Independence

Inspiring Women Network is pleased to be working with Sunflowers and Choughs and Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery to bring a special Ukrainian film screening to Truro as part of an international charity film marathon celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.

Taking place across the UK and internationally between 20 August and 30 September 2026, the film marathon uses Ukrainian cinema to bring people together and share stories of Ukrainian culture, identity and resilience.

Our Truro screening will take place at Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery on Thursday 10 September, offering an opportunity to come together, experience Ukrainian film and mark this important anniversary.
