Come along and swim or use the gym for free with other members of the LGBTQ+ community at Bramley Baths.

Join us at Bramley Baths on the last Sunday of each month to swim or use the gym (for free) with others in the LGBTQIA+ community.

This event is for ages 18+ only.

LLCC are delighted to continue this Swim & Gym event.

Times: 5.30 - 6.30pm (the space is only open to this group during those times with the previous public session ending at 5pm)

Dates: Last Sunday of each month (exceptions in Nov & Dec 2026)

What to expect

When you arrive for the session, our lovely facilitator Morgan (or another member of our team) will be in reception to greet you. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for the session, please speak to the reception staff to let them know you are here for "LGBT Swimming" and they will direct you.

Privacy

We have exclusive use of the changing facilities, pool and gym area during our session (5.30 - 6.30pm) with the previous public session finishing at 5pm.

Please note: This is not a learning programme and there will be no teaching (swimming or gym). This is an opportunity to access the pool and gym facilitates with other people in our community. If you would like to know more about learning to swim in your area we recommend that you speak with your local leisure centre or visit the Swim England website.

Who are Leeds LGBT Community Consortium?

Leeds LGBTQ+ Community Consortium (LLCC) hosts events at various locations across Leeds and online. With the help of partners and our community, we aim to support the reduction of social isolation, especially amongst older, unwell, disabled, or otherwise restricted members of the LGBTQIA+ community through facilitating intergenerational activities, events and information. We are passionate about enabling people to develop new interests, skills and become more connected with the community around them.

Accessibility at Bramley Baths

The main entrance to Bramley Baths is flat and completely accessible.

The pool is ground Level with accessible changing and toilet facilities.

There is equipment to allow easy access into the pool (Pool Hoist) and flotation equipment if it is needed during your swim. Staff and lifeguards will be available to help with these and for any further accessibility related questions, please email: hello@bramleybaths.com.
