About This Event

The GEO Problem: Why AI is not recommending you - and how to change that is a workshop held at Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield. The event focuses on Generative Engine Optimisation and how earned media builds AI visibility. Tickets are free.

Live event: AI is answering search queries and naming your competitors. Learn what GEO is and how earned media builds AI visibility.

After a hiatus from 'IRL' live events, we're super excited to be back at our favourite location in the land, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and we can't wait to see you there.

We've chosen a seriously hot topic for a deep dive that we know will be playing on your minds; generative engine optimisation, AKA GEO. Or to put it another way; how to make sure it's YOUR brand that is showing up in AI search summaries, and not one of your competitors.

Here's why you should care:

In this new AI landscape that we find ourselves in, tradtional search has changed shape. Most Google queries now end without a click, just an AI-generated answer sitting at the top of the page.

Whoever gets named in that answer wins the moment. Even if you rank highly organically, you can still be invisible. In fact, only 3% of AI overviews feature brands that rank number 1 on Google. This stuff matters, and to ignore it means risking invisibility.

What you'll get:

A practical, expert session explaining what GEO actually is and how it differs from traditional SEO. We'll also discuss;

How AI models decide which brands to name and which to leave out, as well as why earned media has become one of the strongest levers for AI visibility

Practical steps to take and essential tools to win when it comes to GEO.

The event will be presented by AI expert, and Prohibition PR Managing Director, Chris Norton, with special guest speakers TBC.

Remember, most marketing teams haven't caught up with this yet, so it's your chance to gain some serious competetive edge. But more than that, the value of this event is in the discussion, and there will be plenty of time to network with peers facing the same challenges.

And for anyone of the OGs attending our original events, yes, we will be serving breakfast, and you'll also have the chance to explore the grounds of the beautiful Yorkshire Sculpture Park for free afterwards.

So if you're an ambitious, curious marketer, comms professional or PR lead, then sign up quickly. Places are strictly limited and this will sell out.
