About This Event

🍂📚 **OCTOBER BOOK CLUB PICK** 📚🍂 This October, we’re heading to **Oxford in the midst of autumn** with *The Bookbinder of Jericho* by Pip Williams. Set in 1914, the novel takes us behind the scenes of the Oxford University Press, where **Peggy Jones works as a bookbinder**, carefully crafting beautiful books while dreaming of a life beyond the confines of the bindery. As the First World War begins to change the world around her, Peggy’s life—and the lives of those she works alongside—begins to change too. Expect **beautiful books, secret worlds, friendships, love, ambition and wartime Oxford**, all wrapped up in Pip Williams’ wonderfully evocative storytelling. 🕯️🍂 📅 **Saturday 10th October** ⏰ **10:00 AM** 📍 **The Fat Pug** — upstairs room **Reminder:** Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram **@between_the_pages_leamington** for updates, reminders, and all things book club.
