About This Event

The exhibition features a free four-screen outdoor film installation at Lighthouse Viewing Platform.

A four-screen outdoor film installation transforming Dunmore East harbour through archive, memory and the changing life of the village.

Dunmore Through a Lens is a new outdoor, four-screen film installation exploring the changing life of Dunmore East through archive footage, photography, oral history and contemporary images.

Created by DuMo Collective for Culture Night 2026, the work brings together memories of fishing, harbour life, work, community and the sea, projecting different periods of the village’s history simultaneously against the dramatic setting of Dunmore East harbour.

The installation will be presented beside the lighthouse, transforming the harbour itself into part of the screen and the story.
