Can you honestly think of anything better than drawing with someone who draws for a job!? Do just that today with Sarah Bowie who draws and writes about characters like Nina Peanut and Megan BUM-FACE, including Nina’s latest outing, Major Drama Alert! Come and doodle with Sarah as she chats about Nina: amazing frozen-pizza chef, ghost hunter, mystery solver, jet-setter, creative genius, and drama queen. Maybe you’ll leave with your own graphic novel idea!

About Sarah Bowie

Sarah Bowie is a writer and illustrator based in Waterford. She is also an arts educator and runs workshops in schools on comic-making, visual storytelling and doodling for wellbeing.

She is co-founder of The Comics Lab and of Ireland's first Graphic Short Story Prize in partnership with the Irish Times.

The first book in the Nina Peanut graphic novel series was one of the biggest-selling middle-grade debuts of 2024 and has been translated into fourteen languages.
