About This Event

Browse a wide selection of quality second hand books, discover your next great read, and learn more about volunteering opportunities with the National Trust. Whether you're a keen reader, looking for a family day out, or simply fancy a relaxing autumn visit, there's something for everyone. Families can enjoy a range of free paper crafts throughout the day, including creating your own bookmark, making a paper pumpkin and trying your hand at origami. Make the most of your visit with a stop at the wonderful Courtyard Café, where you'll find delicious cakes, hot drinks and light refreshments. Afterwards, take in the sights and colours of the season on one of our three waymarked trails, winding through the beautiful woodland on the estate. We're also looking for donations of pre-loved books and board games to help support the event. If you've had a summer clear out and have items looking for a new home, we'd be delighted to receive them until the 13th of October. Donations can be dropped off in The Snug during opening hours or handed to a member of the team on arrival.
