Join us for beginners art sessions - no experience needed. Anyone can draw & paint when we let go of our own limitations, so come have a go

My:ND Space CIC is a dedicated space, led by and for the Neurodivergent Community.

We host a variety of creative workshops, social evenings and peer support sessions each month.

This is a brand new session and will be delivered by a local Neurodivergent Artist.

No experience necessary - we believe anyone can be creative and learn the basics of drawing and painting. It's just a matter of self belief, letting go of limitiations and past experiences of being told what Art should be or look like. So many people are told they can't draw or paint, and we want to change that narrative. Anyone can learn, everyone can be creative, if we are given the right support and environment to do so.

In this session we will explore the basics:

Introduction to basic art materials

Experimenting with scribble drawings

Beginning your drawing journey using charcoal

Creating thumbnail drawings to put in to practice what you have learnt.

Absolutely no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn in a safe space dedicated to Neurodivergent people.
