Bring a book you’ve finished. Take one you haven’t started. Have a brew and a natter in between.

The nights are drawing in. The jumpers are out. It’s officially book weather 🍂

Join us at Cotton cafe at Civic for a cosy book swap social. Bring a book or two, swap them for something new, and settle in with a hot drink and other people who like a good read.

How it works

Bring at least one book you’re happy to pass on. Pop it on the table when you arrive. Have a nose around, pick something that catches your eye, and take it home for the long evenings ahead.

Any genre is welcome. Crime, cookbooks, a dog-eared romance, that thriller you bought at the airport. If you bring more than you take, lovely. If you take more than you bring, we won’t tell anyone.
