Drop in to one of our Mini Makers sessions and get creative with your little ones! (Ages 0 - 5)

Mini Makers is back for 2 FREE special drop-in sessions to help inspire our Light Night window display!✨🌈

As part of Light Night Wigan 2026 the Everyday team will be creating a paper cut-out display for the windows above the old post office and we need the creativity of your little ones to help inspire our designs. 😍

This year’s theme is ‘The Unexpected’ and what’s more wonderfully unpredictable than children’s artwork? We’ll be exploring collage, drawing and printing crafts in these sessions to answer the question ‘what can I make to bring joy to my town?’

So, join us for a morning of joyful making whilst your little ones get the chance to explore their creativity and socialise with children of a similar age. For parents and guardians, it’s a chance to socialise with other parents in a fun and engaging space, without any mess to clean up afterwards!🎨❤

Teas and coffees will be available during the session☕

For ages 0 -5 but we also welcome participants slightly older than our age range who are home schooled, to help you get some creative activity into your curriculum!

This session will take place in Room For Dreaming, Makinson Arcade, Wigan, WN1 1PL (Previously Thorntons unit)

PLEASE NOTE: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and be willing to participate in some activities. Booking for this free event gives us an idea of numbers attending with ONE TICKET required PER CHILD attending.

The Room For Dreaming unit is accessible however the nearest public toilets are located in The Grand Arcade.
