Pottery Night is our weekly session where you can come and play with clay!
Pottery Night is our weekly session where you can learn the art of handbuilding with clay.
With the help of our ceramics facilitator and artist Anna FC Smith, you will be supported through the whole design process. From preparing the raw clay to sculpting your creation and glazing to finally firing your work, Pottery Night is perfect for beginners or the more seasoned potter who would like a space to get creative.
All equipment from tools to glazes and a shared kiln firing is included in the ticket price. Please be aware that you may need at least two sessions to complete one pottery piece. This is to allow for drying time between building and glazing your creations!
Bisque fired and ready to glaze pieces will be stored for 8 weeks. In this time, you can book onto Pottery Night to glaze them or visit Everyday to collect. You can drop by during Pottery Night or organise coming to Everyday another time during the week by emailing hello@everydaywigan.org.uk or contacting us via the Pottery Night WhatsApp group.
