Creative, relaxed summer art sessions for ages 7–17 at Leigh Spinners Mill. Every Thursday & Saturday Studio Time: Summer Art Sessions with Heart Communities CIC Give your child the ultimate creative freedom this summer at our art studio in Leigh Spinners Mill! Our Studio Time Summer Sessions run weekly throughout the six-week school summer break. This is not a prescriptive art lesson. Instead, we offer a relaxed, nurturing space where young people can explore professional art materials at their own pace, experiment freely, and make completely unique creations. What to Expect at Studio Time Creative Freedom: No rigid templates! Kids choose between painting, drawing, sculpting, and mixed-media crafting. Materials: Full access to a wide array of arts and crafts supplies. Ages 7 to 17 Welcome: Tailored to support both younger children and teenagers. Drop-Off Sessions: Convenient 2-hour slots where you can drop your child off and pick them up at the end. Small Group Sizes: Strictly limited to 10 places per session to ensure a calm, supportive environment. 🌟 Led by Experienced Educators - Every single session is directly led by our directors, Lisa & Lee. Lisa is an artist and a fully qualified art teacher with 22 years of experience working with children and young people. Lisa is also a trainee Art Therapist. She brings a calm, nurturing, and trauma-informed approach to the studio, meeting every child exactly where they are at on their creative journey. Both Lee and Lisa hold fully enhanced DBS. 🎒 What to Bring & Wear Clothing: Please wear old clothes that can get messy, or bring an art smock/apron. Refreshments: Snacks and drinks are not provided. Please send your child with their own drink and a small snack if needed. 📅 Session Logistics When: Every Thursday and Saturday throughout the six-week school summer holidays. Duration: 2 hours per session - 10am-12pm Where: Heart Communities CIC Studio, Floor 4, Creative Spin Studios, Leigh Spinners Mill, Park Lane, Leigh, WN7 2LB. Cost: £7.50 per session. Spaces are strictly limited and advanced booking is highly advised to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins will only be accepted on the day if the session is not already full.
