Join us at Long Barn to craft a festive Christmas wreath and get into the holiday spirit!

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop

Join us at Long Barn this Christmas and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of haute floral design with an exclusive wreath-making workshop.

You will spend a fabulous few hours guided by local florists Hortus Poeticus creating a stunning, abundant, large wreath using sustainably sourced moss rings (between 18 to 20 inches).

You will have the freedom to get your creativity flowing with an array of plentiful, beautiful natural ingredients to choose from crowned with a lovely selection of ribbons to finish off in style your personal creation.

By the end, you'll have crafted a professional-quality wreath embodying English Christmas tradition with a luxurious twist—a true centrepiece for your holiday decor.

All of the wreaths at Hortus are created using entirely English only dried flowers, seeds, berries and foliage, either lovingly grown or foraged on their farm in West Meon, or sourced carefully from other wonderful English growers.

This event coincides with our Christmas Late Night Shopping, so why not stop by and have a browse before the event starts?

Included: all materials and tools, a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and a Christmas sweet treat.

About Hortus Poeticius: "At Hortus Poeticus our ethos is to tread lightly and kindly upon this precious earth and to appreciate all its treasures. Celebrating all the beauty that seasonal natural ingredients have to offer and taking time to enjoy them amongst the flurry and noise this time of year brings, is the perfect moment of pause to set you up for Christmas."
