Fancy doing something a bit different on a Tuesday night?

Join us at Bar 163, the quirky little bar just a few minute's from Egham station, for a relaxed evening of painting, drinks and good company.

What's included in your ticket

A welcome drink on arrival: a house beer, house wine or a soft drink, whichever you fancy. Everything you need to paint: canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, palette and apron. Two hours of guided painting with a local artist. And your finished piece to take home and keep.

The venue

Bar 163 is one of Egham's best kept secrets. Tucked in the heart of town, one minute from the station, it has a proper independent feel and a fantastic selection of drinks, including a brilliant range of Belgian beers if that's your thing. The walls are hung with original artwork you can browse while you paint, some of it mine.

What we're painting

Windsor Castle and The Long Walk, a scene you'll recognise from right here in the local area. You'll build it up in acrylics on canvas, step by step.

Your artist

I'm Adam, an artist based in Egham. I work in acrylic, watercolour, pen and digital, and I've been running exhibitions and workshops locally for years. I'll break the painting into simple stages and talk you through each one. Follow along exactly, or go your own way with the colours. Both are completely fine.

No experience needed

Really. Most people who come along haven't picked up a brush since school, and that's rather the point. Nobody is marking your work.

Who it's for

Friends catching up, date nights, birthdays, after work, or coming solo and meeting people. Plenty of people book on their own.

The vibe

Chilled and unhurried. Music on, drink in one hand, brush in the other. Two hours to switch off and make something you'll actually want to hang up.
