Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, Janáček’s Otče náš – a beautiful setting of the Lord’s Prayer – and Kodály’s energetic Missa Brevis

Our Autumn Concert features music for harp and organ accompaniment, and we are delighted to be joined at our concert by two world class musicians.

Veronika Lemishenko is a world-renowed Ukrainian harpist, Principal Harpist at the Croatian National Theatre, and Harp Tutor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Doug Tang is an award-winning conductor, keyboardist and coach whose career has spanned Europe, Asia, the United States, and Australia. Having served as Organ Scholar at King's College, Cambridge, Doug's performing career has taken him to the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Wigmore Hall.

Together, we will be performing Janáček’s Otče náš – a beautiful setting of the Lord’s Prayer in the Czech language, accompanied by harp and organ.

Kodály’s energetic Missa Brevis will be performed with organ accompaniment, and the magical Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten will be performed by our Sopranos, Altos, and harp.
