A celebration of recovery, lived experience and the services supporting vulnerable and marginalised people across Birmingham and Solihull.
Beyond the Label is a recovery event hosted by the Health & Justice Vulnerability Service, which supports individuals who come into contact with the criminal justice system and may experience health inequalities, vulnerabilities and multiple or complex needs.
The event celebrates the work of services across Birmingham and Solihull that support some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in our communities.
The day will bring together people with lived experience, service users, peer support workers, professionals, community organisations and key stakeholders to celebrate recovery, resilience and positive change.
We will be joined by a range of keynote speakers, including a local MP, the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Prison Laureate, who will share their perspectives on recovery, lived experience, inclusion and creating positive change.
The day will also include shared experiences and opportunities to connect, learn, network and celebrate the difference that recovery-focused services make.

Beyond the Label is open to service users, people with lived experience, peer support workers, professionals, community and voluntary organisations, and key stakeholders across Birmingham and Solihull.
