Every parent wants their child to succeed. But knowing how to support them isn't always easy.

Whether your child struggles with motivation, spends too much time on their phone, finds it difficult to maintain a study routine or simply needs more confidence and direction, the right support can make all the difference.

Join Medentors Academy and Masjid Al Farouq for a free, interactive workshop designed to help parents and their children build the habits, mindset and confidence needed to succeed at school and beyond.

This isn't just another talk about studying harder. It's about understanding what holds students back and giving families practical strategies they can start using together.

WHAT WE'LL COVER

• Build better study habits: Learn how to create consistent study routines, manage time effectively and develop habits that last beyond exam season.

• Motivation, discipline and overcoming procrastination: Understand why students lose motivation and how to help them stay consistent, even when they don't feel like studying.

• How parents can support their children: Discover practical ways to encourage your child, support their learning at home and build a positive relationship around education.

• Managing screen time and distractions: Explore ways to reduce distractions, manage phone usage and help students focus on what matters.

• Confidence, ambition and succeeding beyond academics: Help your child set meaningful goals, believe in their abilities and develop a clear plan for their future.

THIS IS A WORKSHOP FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Parents and children are strongly encouraged to attend together. Throughout the session, there will be interactive activities to help you reflect, set goals and put what you've learned into practice.

You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and speak individually with the Medentors Academy team about your child's academic journey.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This workshop is designed for parents and students in Years 7–13, including those preparing for GCSEs and A-Levels.

Whether your child is already performing well and wants to achieve more, or is struggling with motivation, confidence or consistency, this session will offer practical guidance for the next stage of their education.
