Start 2027 with New Beginnings, a free creative writing workshop from Sandwell Stanzas, facilitated by DK from AccessAbility Arts.
New beginnings don’t have to mean New Year’s resolutions. They can be big or small: a new relationship, a change of direction, letting something go, taking a chance, starting again, or simply wondering what might happen next.
Through accessible and creative poetry exercises, we’ll explore change, endings and beginnings, relationships, opportunities and possibility, using our own experiences and imaginations to create new writing.
Whether you’ve been writing poetry for years, have never written a poem before, or simply fancy trying something creative, you’re welcome. There’ll be no pressure to create a “perfect” poem and sharing your work will always be optional.
