Join us for a very special Sandwell Stanzas × Oldbury Rep crossover Open Mic Night, bringing together poetry, comedy and music for an evening of live performance and creativity!

Taking place at Oldbury Rep on Friday 25th September 2026, from 7pm–9pm, this special event is brought to you by Sandwell Stanzas, AccessAbility Arts and Oldbury Rep.

Headline Act – Glyn Phillips

We’re delighted to welcome Glyn Phillips as our headline poet for the evening!

Alongside our headline performance, the stage will be open to performers who want to share their own work. Whether you’re a poet, comedian or musician, we’d love to hear from you.

Never performed before? You’re just as welcome. Sandwell Stanzas is about creating a friendly and supportive space where emerging performers can share a stage alongside more experienced artists.

And if performing isn’t your thing, come along, grab a drink from the bar, enjoy the atmosphere and support some brilliant local creativity!
