An evening of poetry, spoken word and brilliant local voices, featuring headline poet Charlotte Faulconbridge!

Sandwell Stanzas returns with another celebration of creativity and community, bringing poetry to the heart of Sandwell.

We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte Faulconbridge as our headline poet for this special evening at Tipton Library.

Alongside our headline performance, we’ll be opening the microphone to poets from across the community, creating opportunities for new and experienced writers to share their work.

Whether you love writing poetry, performing it or simply listening, everyone is welcome.

Want to perform?

Our open mic is all about giving people the confidence and opportunity to share their words.

You don’t need to be published, experienced or even particularly confident. If you’ve written something you’d like to share, we’d love to hear it.

And if performing isn’t your thing, come along to support the poets and enjoy an evening of creativity.
