Mr Pudhupalayam Bhaskar is a leading oncoplastic breast surgeon with more than two decades of experience in breast cancer treatment and advanced breast reconstruction. Known for his calm, reassuring manner and meticulous surgical skill, he provides personalised, high‑quality care for patients seeking breast‑conserving surgery, mastectomy, immediate or delayed reconstruction, and revision procedures after previous treatment.

His reconstructive expertise includes implant‑based reconstruction, Latissimus Dorsi flap surgery, perforator flap techniques, and complex corrective work. He has performed hundreds of cancer and reconstructive operations, offering patients safe cancer treatment with natural, balanced cosmetic outcomes.

Beyond his clinical practice, Mr Bhaskar is recognised nationally for shaping breast cancer care across the UK. He serves as a Professional and Clinical Advisor for the NHS Breast Screening Programme, overseeing quality and performance across multiple screening units. He has contributed to national standards through his work with the Association of Breast Surgery, helping ensure consistent, high‑quality care for patients nationwide. His involvement in national research trials and published work in breast reconstruction further strengthens his reputation as an expert in modern oncoplastic techniques.
