About This Event

The Autism & Me for Professionals workshop will take place on 24 November 2026 at the County Enterprise Workshop in Worcester. This introductory session, developed with young people who have autism, will provide insights into their experiences, challenges, and strengths. Attendees can expect to learn strategies for supporting communication and emotional wellbeing, as well as a deeper understanding of behaviours associated with autism.

Autism & Me has been developed with Young People who have Autism.

The Young People themselves talk about their own lived experiences.

From this introductory workshop, you can expect:

insights from autistic young people on their experiences, challenges, and strengths

strategies for supporting communication, sensory needs, and emotional wellbeing

a deeper understanding of behaviours and what they might mean

a chance to ask questions and explore useful resources

By the end of the session, professionals will have a better understanding of autism from the young person’s perspective and practical approaches to support them effectively.
