About This Event

The David Cox: The Art of Watercolour exhibition continues on 9 September 2026 at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum. This display showcases the museum's collection of watercolours by David Cox. Entry to the exhibition is free.

Saturday 6 June – Sunday 1 November 2026 | Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum Celebrating Worcester’s collection of watercolours by David Cox, one of the West Midlands’ greatest painters. Cox is widely considered as one of Britain’s best watercolourists and has been named as a precursor to the impressionist movement. The exhibition is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm, and Sunday, 10am – 3pm. Free entry.
