About This Event

The exhibition celebrating David Cox: The Art of Watercolour is open at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum from Saturday 6 June to Sunday 1 November 2026. It showcases the gallery's collection featuring works by the artist with free entry.

Saturday 6 June – Sunday 1 November 2026 | Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum Celebrating Worcester’s collection of watercolours by David Cox, one of the West Midlands’ greatest painters. Cox is widely considered as one of Britain’s best watercolourists and has been named as a precursor to the impressionist movement. The exhibition is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm, and Sunday, 10am – 3pm. Free entry.
