A face to face group for AFAB/Women over the age of 16 who identify as autistic and live in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire area.

Welcome to the Worcester AFAB/Women’s Social Group!

Our Worcester AFAB/Women’s Social Group is a safe and trusted space for autistic women over the age of 16 living in Herefordshire and Worcestershire to socialise and communicate with one another.

We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits but please do let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements!

Each session will focus on a different women's health topic, such as menopause, sexual health, periods, or other areas of wellbeing. During the first half of the group, we will explore the chosen topic together through discussion, sharing information and experiences, and providing signposting to relevant support and resources. The second half of the session will be dedicated to socialising in a relaxed and welcoming environment. A range of optional activities will be available, including board games, colouring, arts and crafts, and more. There is no pressure to take part in any activities—you're welcome to engage in whatever feels comfortable for you.

Due to limited space booking for this group is essential! We also politely ask you to make us aware of any medical conditions you may have. Should any of these impact your participation within the group, Autism West Midlands reserves the right to work alongside you and implement a risk assessment to ensure the safety of yourself, other members of the group and the staff.

Please note that, due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances (such as staff illness), we may need to cancel this event at short notice. If this happens, we will make every effort to notify you as early as possible on the day of the event.

Please note: different members of the group are at different stages within understanding their autism and working through their mental health, which may display as physical, emotional and mental indicators of this, if you are concerned, please talk to a member of staff
