Connected Conservation Yorkshire Regional Workshop
This workshop is designed to introduce new participants and to update existing partners of the Connected Conservation collaborative network throughout Yorkshire. It is one of 4 sub-regional workshops being held across the North of England in November (if you can’t make this date you are welcome to attend one of our other events).
It is for anyone working in the environment sector for a Trust, local authority, mayoralty, government agency, catchment partnership, water company, business or a landmanager with an interest in supporting a major National Lottery Heritage Fund application to support the eradication of American Mink and the recovery of our native water vole. The workshop aims to provide a forum to collate information on all previous and existing work in the region including: number and location of mink traps; any planned pipeline work; potential funding streams; agree key elements to include within the Connected Conservation funding bids; names of representative individuals and organisations to be considered for the regional and pan-Northern steering groups; working parties and governance boards. Join us in person for the workshop!
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
