A Food Festival with a Difference Join us in York for an evening of authentic food and stories. Refugee chefs from Staycity Hotel will prepare Syrian, Saudi Arabian and Tunisian dishes. Come hungry and leave inspired. Our chefs will demonstrate how basic staples like rice, wheat and pulses become delicious meals in times of crisis. Their dishes reflect their culture and memories as well as their personal stories. This special evening celebrates the contributions refugees make to our community and explores how food can connect people and bring communities together during difficult times. Join us in York for an evening of authentic food and stories. Refugee chefs from Staycity Hotel will prepare Syrian, Saudi Arabian and Tunisian dishes. Come hungry and leave inspired.
