About This Event

Noel Coward's much-loved farce, Present Laughter, is set to grace the stage of the Grand Opera House York from Tuesday 6 October. This sparkling production features the talented Tracy-Ann Oberman in the leading role of Geri Essendine, a celebrated actor whose life is anything but simple. The play delves into the intoxicating allure and inherent perils of theatrical fame, offering a deliciously sharp and witty exploration of celebrity culture and its inevitable discontents.
