About This Event

Prepare for a double dose of classic rock as The Fulford Arms in York welcomes two acclaimed tribute acts on Saturday 3 October. Kicking off the evening at 18:30, the spotlight first falls on SCOPYONS, a highly regarded Scorpions tribute band that has been captivating audiences since its formation in 2012. Recognised as one of the UK's premier tribute acts, SCOPYONS have even had the honour of performing in Munich alongside the legendary Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs himself, a testament to their authentic sound and electrifying stage presence. Following their impressive set, the stage will transform to host UFOLOGY. This tribute act is dedicated to celebrating the iconic music of the seminal band UFO, promising to deliver a faithful and energetic rendition of their much-loved hits. This promises to be a night of pure rock nostalgia for fans of both bands. Tickets for this unmissable event are available and are incredibly affordable, with prices ranging from just £1 to £10.

SCOPYONS will perform a set drawing on the Scorpions’ post-1978 catalogue, including tracks from the Lovedrive era onwards such as Rock You Like a Hurricane, Big City Nights and No One Like You, alongside classic Uli Jon Roth-era songs like We’ll Burn the Sky, In Trance and Pictured Life.

UFOLOGY will follow with a faithful rendition of UFO’s most-loved material, delivering an energetic performance of the band’s signature anthems.

The event is strictly for ages 16 and over. Valid identification confirming age will be required for entry; those unable to present acceptable proof will be refused admission and no refund will be issued.
