UKSA Winter Networking Event

We are delighted to announce our Winter Networking Event for 25th November at The Grand, York.

Built in 1906 as the headquarters of the North Eastern Railway, The Grand, York is a striking example of early 20th-century architecture. Designed by William Bell and Horace Field, the building showcases elegant marble interiors, oak-panelled rooms, and the majestic Grand Boardroom.

A cherished landmark in the heart of Yorkshire, The Grand was lovingly restored to its original splendour in 2010. Today, it stands as an award-winning five-star hotel, welcoming guests with the warmth, charm, and character of true Yorkshire hospitality.

Home of the newly opened Subrosa spa exists beneath The Grand. It’s secretive, shadowed, and calming. But its brilliance lies in the contrast between what’s beneath and what’s above. This is a place of transformation, where you descend to disconnect and rise renewed.

By Car - The address is: The Grand, York. Station Rise, North Yorkshire. YO1 6GD.

By Train - The hotel is a short 3 min walk from York Train station.

Evening Drinks Reception on Tuesday 24th November from 6pm – 7.30pm.

We invite anyone attending to join us at our sponsored drinks reception on the evening prior to the event to enjoy some additional networking time.

Dinner Arrangements -

For those staying overnight at the hotel we highly recommend pre-booking a dinner reservation for The Rise Restaurant Terrace & Bar. If you quote UKSA event at time of booking, you are able to secure a 20% discount on your meal.

The Main Event - Wednesday 25th November

We look forward to welcoming you from 9.30am for Registration & coffee before a prompt start at 10am.

A full event agenda will be circulated closer to the time but for now, just note, we have a very special speaker planned! The event will include plenty of networking time, supplier stands, a sumptuous buffet lunch and hopefully a few surprises! We expect to wrap up by 3.30pm when you will leave with an event goody bag!

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

Due to previous confusion regarding bookings, we are adding some T&C's. Please read these carefully BEFORE making your purchase of event tickets.

By purchasing tickets, you are agreeing to these terms stated below.

Event Terms & Conditions

1) To book FREE tickets for this event through eventbrite, you must be a UKSA Member. If you are not a member but wish to attend our event please purchase a Non-Member Ticket. N.B. You may only attend our events as a Non-Member once.

2) Each member may book the number of tickets allocated by their membership type:

Operator 2 tickets

Supplier 2 tickets

Consultant 1 ticket

Individual 1 ticket

Educator 1 ticket

3) Who you invite on your ticket, is up to you but due to ticket demand we regret we cannot allow you any additional tickets on top of this amount.

4) Sponsors - you and your team are required to book a ticket per person. Unfortunately we are unable to allocate additional tickets to those already included in your membership allocation, even if you are a sponsor.

5) Please use your company/ work email when making your reservation, otherwise we cannot always tell who you are and may cancel your booking.

6) Please book each ticket under the name of the guest, who it is for. If there are multiple bookings under the same name, we reserve the right to cancel these.

7) If you are unable to attend the event for any reason, we kindly request that you email us at: manager@spa-uk.org to let us know, so we can invite someone off the waiting list.

8) As this is a Networking event, we reserve the right to share your contact details with other attendees, in order for networking to take place.

9) We will never sell or provide your contact details to any company who is not an event attendee or UKSA Member.

By booking a ticket for this event, you give consent and your agreement to all of the above Terms and Conditions.
