A talk by Allan Henderson where he will discuss not only the McGinty`s Group but the future of the wider hospitality sector in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen Entrepreneurs is delighted to announce that our next meeting on Thursday 3rd September 2026 will feature Allan Henderson who is the joint owner and CEO of the Aberdeen Based McGinty`s Group, operating 8 hospitality venues in the city employing over 200 staff.

Venues include The Silver Darling , No 10 Bar and Restaurant and The Grill whisky bar . The McGinty’s Group have been appointed to manage and operate the new Flint market by Aberdeen City Council in 2027.

Mr Henderson is the Owner and MD of The Workshop , a contract catering business with 8 sites across the UK .

The Workshop provides staff canteens to a range of clients in Sheffield , Newcastle ,Falkirk and Aberdeen amongst others .

Allan is a passionate Aberdonian, and feels that we should all do our bit for the city and he has been delighted to give of his time to help support the various city organisations such as Visit Aberdeenshire, The Archway Charity and Aberdeen Inspired.
