Join us for a free Open Mic hosted by Kate Davis as we round off another block of poetry workshops led by Kate Davis at Signal.

A relaxed and welcoming evening of poetry and spoken word—whether you’re a seasoned performer, trying it for the first time, or haven’t been to Kate’s workshops at all. Come along, share your words, or simply listen and enjoy. All are welcome!

Here’s how it works:

This ticket is just for attending.

If you’d like to perform, you can pop your name down for a slot when you arrive (around 5 mins each).

Booking a ticket really helps us plan, but you’re welcome to drop in on the night too.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30 start.

A Welcoming Space for Everyone:

Our aim for this Signal Open Mic event is to foster an inclusive, encouraging space for poets and spoken word performers of all experience levels and backgrounds to share and listen. We encourage experimentation and the pushing of boundaries, but hate speech or material offensive to others because of a protected characteristic (as set out in Equalities Act 2010) is not acceptable.
