About This Event

An Irish whiskey tasting event featuring Boann Irish Whiskey is organised for 28 August 2026 at Independent Spirit of Bath in Bath. The event highlights pre-1900 Irish distilleries and costs are listed on the website.

Irish whiskey is the next big thing, of course we say that, because it is. Pre 1900 Ireland had a magnificent array of hundreds of distilleries, by the 1960's we were down to two. Come along for an evening drinking Boann Whiskey and discovering what Irish whiskey used to be like and where it's going. Expect some delicious liquid treats on the evening. Event starts at 6:30PM here at the shop; Independent spirit of Bath, 7 Terrace Walk, BA1 1LN. Your order number is your ticket. Please note events take place in our downstairs tasting room. Should you have any accessibility issues, please get in touch first. Tickets £30 PP Over 18 only. Tickets are refundable up to 24hrs before the start of the event.
