About This Event

Join us to reimagine what Finance and Fundraising as a trustee means

The A&B NI Governance Conference, supported by HM Chartered Accountants, is back for 2026. Join us as we champion governance excellence, celebrate the vital role of trustees, and explore the issues shaping the future of charity leadership.

This year's theme puts fundraising and finance into focus. Through expert insights and real-world examples, we'll explore how the numbers behind an organisation inform decisions, shape priorities, and drive impact.

Headline speakers include:

Alison Cowzer – Managing Director of The Company of Food, host of The Currency podcast, a Dragon investor in the RTE series Dragons’ Den and board member of several NGOs, including Chair of Rough Magic Theatre Company.

Flora Raffai – an EMCC-accredited coach, trainer, and consultant who specialises in helping small organisations make a big difference.

You'll also hear from charity trustees and sector leaders in a series of panel discussions exploring what it really means to fundraise with purpose, how organisations can use data to make informed strategic decisions, and how trustees can build the confidence to understand financial information and strengthen their decision-making.

What to expect

· Gain fresh insights into the key issues facing charity boards today, with practical takeaways and real-life examples of how trustees and leaders are driving positive change.

· Join the conversation through interactive discussions, opportunities to share experiences, discover new approaches, and ask questions of expert speakers and peers.

· Grow your network by connecting with like-minded trustees, board members, and charity leaders who are committed to strengthening governance and creating greater impact.
